Zachariah Jones

Author

Zachariah Jones grew up in a small town in Central Minnesota. He became fascinated with books at a young age. In fact, his first job at the age of 14 was working in the local library. He was responsible for shelving and repairing books. Zachariah felt called to serve in the armed forces, where he has been serving since age 17. He is also a graduate of Saint John's University and holds a degree in Political Science. He has toyed with writing for many years, however, he finally has taken the time to start turning the short stories he had into novels. His debut novel is the first book in a trilogy, Chasing Shadows. Zachariah currently lives in New York City with his husband and dog. When Zachariah is not on duty, he enjoys anything outdoors, gardening, cooking, and spending time relaxing in his home.

Lisa Eliason

Author

Lisa Eliason has delighted in books for as long as she can remember. As a middle schooler and high schooler, she would stay up all night finishing a book. Later, as an adult and mom of four, she loved walking with her children to the public library where they would fill a milk crate with books to bring home. Once back at home they would pile on the couch where Lisa would read aloud until she couldn't keep her eyes open. In mid-life she began working as a public librarian and recently retired from that short career. She has lived and breathed books.

Lisa writes for her grandchildren but loves to share her stories with anyone who is interested in children's picture books. Her first book, Things Are Wild on the Farm, published in 2025 and is based on a true event. Great Aunt Ruby from California was released the winter of 2026. Lisa has many more stories to come.

Lisa Eliason lives in rural Minnesota, where the prairies meet the lakes. She shares a small homestead with her husband, flock of backyard chickens and two cats.
